Does that mean that the foreign policy can be inflenced by the democrats. I will like the democrats not to take side as the bush administration is currently doing with Israel. I wish that the democrats heal all the open wound that the bush administration has festered all over the middle East. I wish the democrats can persuade Bush to mend fences with Europe and reallign behind america countries that no longer think of america as leading the world in the right direction.

They won't be able to stop Bush from continuing the war. However, they may be able to slow him down some a little bit, he won't have a free run of the candy store so to speak. He will have to get permission for funding instead of Congress just opening up the vault and saying take what you want.
P.S: He can still do what he wants up to January (when the new Reps take office), so he will probably be pushing for a lot in the next few months.
P.P.S: How come nobody ever connected this war to the last Golf War. Bush started this one and his father started the last one. And the so called Weapons of Mass Destruction were never found. The so call Weapons is what took us over there, when they wasn't found how come our soldiers didn't come home.

The democrats way of mending fences is to apologize. I do NOT want to be like France thank you.

President Bush has a backbone. Let's not forget we were attacked September 11, 2001 and killed thousands of innocent people. Our President stood up and is trying to hold them accountable. Let's put the blame where it rightfully belongs. The terrorists!!!!! They kill innocent people all throughout the world. Israel has EVERY right to exist just as much as we do. I will not deny Israel just as I won't deny God, that will never happen. Terrorists want their religion to be the religion and President Bush is doing what he can to stop it and stop the innocent killings. We are dealing with terrorists folks. Not 3 yr. olds with temper tantrums. We are talking about people that would put a knife to our heads and saw if off with glee. We are talking about people that horribly torture people, some gang rape, and them kill them in cold blood. I am not about to give up my rights and wear a damn burka! If the rest of the world wants to be politically correct and get their buts killed or under control of some evil muslims, then let them. Let them be like France, I like America, I like my freedoms, but there comes a price for our freedoms. It has always been that way and always will. Ladies, wanna wear a burka? Then go ahead and give in to the politically correct democrats that feel we can negotiate. YOU CANNOT NEGOTIATE WITH A TERRORIST!

Be prepared to catch he// for posting this question. I hope that all your wishes come true. It is going to take some time to get our reputation as a nation heading in the right direction back. The democrats have aways been efficient in fostering amicable relationships with foreign countries - to a fault. However, we still have to protect our country. If Republicans and Democrats alike can play nice, we should now be able to accomplish both.

They are politicians so expect them to find new and inventive ways to legally increase their bank balances. Not sure what you mean by slurs against the Bush administration, I am no fan but the Iraqi people were offered a right to choose, which the majority accepted, it is the minority who kill and murder and pay people to blow themselves up;all of which is beyond the control of the Bush administration. It is unfair to blame Bush for murderous insurgents(who are their own invention), and unrealistic to expect peace from politicians.

this is maximum in all probability that not something will incredibly take place. in the present subject, there is in basic terms 2 possibilities: the two numerous of the democrats lean conservative of their votings and rules, or there's a stalemate with dems attempting to pass issues that are vetoed by ability of Bush.
