Mine was the 5 game sweep of the Boston Red Sox in their backyard. The new "Boston Massacre".

The moment I will always cherish, and when I get old I will tell my grandchildren....
Game 3 of The American League Divisional Series.
Bottom of the 1st, 2 out, bases loaded with yankees....
Alex Rodriguez at the plate......
and he strikes out!
AH! that look on a-rod's face is priceless and one I will never forget. From that moment on, the yankees were toast.
So what if The Tigers lost the World Series? Beating "The Almighty Yankees" was the sweetest thing ever! I will always look back at the moment with a smile on my face.

As a Blue Jays fan, it was the Jays showing signs of life and finishing 2nd, ahead of the Red Sox, in the AL East. The Jays are a starting pitcher and a SS away from challenging the Yankees. A-Rod would look good at SS for the Jays. How about A-Rod for Vernon Wells?

As you've said, the 5 game massacre of the Red Sox by our beloved Yankees. It was the beginning of the end for the Beantowners in 2006. I'd say it will take years for the Red Sox to recover. Look what happened to Boston after the Bucky Dent home run!! Life is good!! Yankees will reclaim their natural birth right next season when they win their 27th World Championship.

Red Sox-Yankees rivalry is the biggest rivalry.....on THE EAST COAST. In the midwest, it's Cards-Cubs. In the west, it's the Giants-Dodgers.
I have some
(1) When backup Cards catcher Gary Bennett beat the Cubs on walk-off hits two days in a row...the second one being a walk-off grand slam on a Sunday night.
(2) When the Cards beat the Mets in Game 7 of the NLCS (Molina HR/Wainwright striking out Beltran to end game)
(3) Of course when the Cards beat the Tigers in Game 5 of the World Series in St. Louis to win it all.

You may not like this answer, but when the Detroit Tigers beat the Yankees in the ALDS and had that great celebration with the fans. Also enjoyed Maggs' homer off of Street in the ALCS to put them in the World Series.

As a Phillies fan, mine is pretty humble. My favorite moment of the year was Aaron Rowand crashing into the center field wall and knocking himself silly during a catch.
He ended up breaking his nose and going on the DL, but Philly fans appriciate hustle. He won't have to buy a drink in Philadelphia for a long time, wether or not we resign him.

The Boston Massacre 2. It was great. Big crappi started having heart problems, Schilling, manny, papelbombed all started mailing it in from that point.
Boston SUCKS!

Endy Chavez's amazing catch in Game 7 of the NLCS.
It would have been famous if the Mets had won that game.

The energy as Jonathan Papelbon leaves the bullpen in a close game. The crowd just jumps a quantum level as he stands at the bullpen door and then walks to the mound. Both times I saw him close at the ballpark, he closed the door hard. Three up, three down. He is the real deal.
As I have no chance of winning the 10 points on this question, let me just add on a personal note, YANKEES SUCK.

Ahh man, a lot to pick from.
As a Mets fan, I guess I have to go with Endy Chavez' game 7 catch in the 6th inning to rob Scott Rolen of a homerun. Unfortunately they lost anyway, but so be it.
