No scenery -- enables the viewer to imagine ANY town, even their own town to bring them into the story more

Not sure what is meant by the first question. The story is about looking at your life from death and seeing what is and isn't important.

There is no scenery because the play is about the emotion and death....to have scenery would put much life into it. They point of the play is to focus on the main character's issues. Plus...maybe it's not the scenery but the people we interact with that would be our focus after death.

I think there is a conflict. Maybe not among the living, but the main character is suffering because people aren't saying what they should...not listening to eachother...not appreciating life....they are so disconnected.
