Most Haunted....faked or real?

There has been reports that the popular Most Haunted is all faked..what do you think?

70%of it is faked - the website badpyschics proved it - it has since been shut down - hmmmmmmm strange that...it had a classic video of 'Evie' with her hand to her mouth making a noise and then asking "Did you hear that?" - yeah Evie cos it was you! but the more important issue here is the way they make contact with the spirits - the way they antagonise them and goad them. Edinburgh 2006 is a classic example - speaking as a medium who has been in the vaults countless times, they were wrong to treat the spirits in the Niddry St vaults the way they did - but it made good - so f*ck the poor guides who went down there the next day - Evie and Karl and Stuart got their money - enjoy kids! dont worry about the f*cking havoc you left behind with your arseh*le leaping in and out of the circle

Faked most of the time. I do think Accorah can be genuine, but he is put under pressure by producers to pull anything out of the bag to make it interesting.

How come Colin Fry and John Edward can do it in a studio with lights on, calm etc... without all that pitch black scary stuff that goes on in most haunted?

I still want to see the Ghost towns through esp. Ely, I know a lot about Oliver Cromwell so I could probably tell if Derek had made proper contact or not - fake or not - that is the question

I work for one of the Ghost tours that Most haunted came to (I wont mention which one) and have an interesting 'thingy' to say.

1) Most haunted disregarded the wishes of the people who owned the particular place they were in by attempting to 'contact' spirits there, which suggests they'd their for the show, not for anything real.

2) It is HIGHLY suspicous that something happens regularly when they are there - the place I work has one of the highest instances of 'activity' in the WORLD, and even when we go in 4 or five times a day, the rate of 'activity' is about 1 'believable' occurrence in 3 months - and even then its usually small.

3) With regards to ghosts being fake - maybe. I use the word 'ghost' to describe a phenomena, Like a black hole - I dont know what it is, I only know what it does; and 'ghost' is the name I use. If you dont believe in Ghosts, you shouldnt believe in black holes, the moon landings, switzerland or plenets beyond the moon, since the evidence of these things is around the sam level as the evidense for Ghosts.

Most haunted are a television show; their primary concern is entertainment - you should view it as such.

I think that some of it is put on for the cameras. However some of the phenomena that they capture is very impressive and very hard to explain ( the positioning of the scratches on stuarts back in the recent live is a prime example). I think as the show has become bigger there has been more pressure applied to the show with the result that some stuff is faked. The recent sacking of Richard Felix will just add to the speculation.

i do believe in ghost there is just some thing that science cant explain and i believe it is caused by some sort of ghost. and Ive had a few paranormal encounters myself.

but i do think that show about ghost are fake like most haunted. putting people in old houses with no lights at night and telling them that its haunted is going to make there mind do tricks on them because they believe its haunted.

my favorite tool they use is those rods where they cross o detect paranormal activity because cultures even today use them to find water underground.

Well now you have got me started!...i loved most haunted and have lots of there dvd etc also was planning to go see derek acorah in dec but..... now i think he is a fake. i was watching clips of most haunted on youtube and came across some real footage of yvette taking to the presenter of the live shows and he asked about dereks posessions, she said they are fake and he is a fraud. I think thats why they got 'rid' of him. I emailed antixs productions and got a reply saying it has been passed on to relevent personnel!yeh right. As for the rest of the team.....i am not sure.

What do you think!! did you see the last live event? most Haunted Halloween live? where some of the crew supposedly had deep slash/gash type wounds on there back.. but ain't it strange that when the 1 guy who had the worst of it, across his back, had disappeared 10 or so minutes before.??.if that was me and that happened for real there is no way that I'd go back for more. And yes if given the opportunity to go along and find out for myself i would not hesitate!! :)

I watch it a lot more since that fake medium left, he was embarrasing!! I do believe in ghosts, but I think that 99% of the time, the 'incidents' on the set, are not faked, but are over exagerated by a hysterical crew. I do believe that once in a blue moon, something genuine happens though.

No, it's not, but it's easy to fool people, especially when they really WANT to believe in something. No one has ever demonstrated such an ability in a test that precluded fraud, and there is no reason to believe that it could be physically possible under any conditions. To put it on a simple level, if you were telekinetic, you could walk into any casino in the world and clean them out at the dice tables. Casinos don't seem to be having any problem with that.
