I'm talking ABOUT 07077 numbers as I want to get one for free, I have found a company and they say it is 50p. I'm fine with that as long as it doesn't charge my caller per minute. http://www.callsure07050.co.uk by the way.

Per minute - if it's a mobile.

It means one basis of charging, ie there can be no variation. A word similar in sense is "Fixed rate". e.g. 15% flat rate indicates the charges will be always 15% and it wont be less or more than 15%. The same applies for mobiles also. But you have to look for what it has been mentioned. if it is for per minute, then the rate will be applicable for one minute or less than one minute. For one minute 40 seconds, the applicable charges will be twice the flat rate and not proportionate.

flat usually means one rate. It most likely is per call... I don't think it'd be per minute. I also could be per month...if you're talking about a phone or something of that nature.

Either.
Flat rate means that it isn't, like, "15p/min for the first 5 mins then 5p/min after that"
so flat rate can be "5p/min" or, like, "15p/call"
but I doubt that it's the latter.
