If he's under 6 months, give him Tylenol. Babies under 6 months shouldn't have Motrin. Also, try the teething tablets that dissolve in their mouths, they work wonders for my son. They're all natural, so it's safe for him to have.

How old is your baby? I would normally use baby oral jell on my little ones. It helps with the pain and what I would also give them is a teething ring, you can get them at a drug store or at a Zellers , Walmart any where they sell baby things. You wash it off after you buy it and put it in the fridge so it can get really cold, buy two so when one gets warm you have the other one ready to be used. The reason why the teething ring should be put into the fridge is because it numbs the gums and the baby can scratch his gums on it because when they teeth their gums get itchy as well. I hope this will help as well , you can give him the baby meds directly if he would take it that way if not you can give it to him in some juice instead of milk, it really depends on how old your child is.

The baby motrin/tylenol come with a "dropper" in the bottle. Just measure out the amuont you need to give him and put it directly into his mouth with the dropper. Good luck!

You can give him the drugs orally. You don't have to give it to him in his bottle. The one thing that I found that worked great for my son when he is teething is a special teething pacifier made by Playtex. Tylonal does work for my son, but I haven't tried the Motrin yet.

If you buy the correct medicine for his age it comes with the dropper you need to dispense it. NOT in his bottle. Make sure you read the box and do not give more medicine than it says. Teething sucks but it will pass!

directly in his mouth is best but first give him a good rub of orajel on those gums.

pinch his little cheeks gently and put the dropper in the corner of his mouth towards the back so he doesn't have a choice but to swallow it

i would try Tylenol first kids really seem to like it better

Directly in his mouth. Place the dropper on the inside of his cheek and slowly give him the medicine.

Directly in his mouth....you can use a dropper if he does not like taking it and squirt it into his mouth while he is eating. Good luck.

in his mouth. place the dropper inside his mouth and to the side of his cheek. as far back as it will go without chocking him. that way he does not even taste it and can't spit it out. good luck.

Dissolving the medication,is only necessary when the child has a problem taking it orally.so try the one that gets the best result.
