Be honest, nobody was really shocked that Britney and K-Fed broke up. But who really shocked you? I was devastated to hear about Ryan Phillipe and Reese Witherspoon.

None of them shock me. With celebrities you kind of expect that from them. Kind of like the flavor of the month. I am more surprised to see celebrity couples that have been together more than five years.

I wasn't that shocked about Reese and Ryan because if you remember sometime ago Reese told the press they were in counseling so for that to happen, something was up then. I was really shocked when Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman broke up because at that time, Tom and Nicole seemed so happy and Tom did not show any of his crazy antics until they broke up. I really thought that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston's had a solid marriage because before he met Angelina, they were always holding hands, hanging out, and smiling when they were in public. After I seen these marriages crumble, no one else will surprise me. The only thing that shocked me about Britney and K Fed was when Britney was on 20//20 trying to sell her marriage as a happy one and everyone else knew better.

Anyway, regarding your question... I'd have to say it's a tie between Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson as well as Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston's divorce.

I agree with Manna, Its really a shock with couples who have been together for a while , like Whitney and Bobby , Kimmora and Russel simmons, those who depsite all the media attention still make it past 5 years and kids are involved. But now with all these reality shows it seems to be a fad. And they been on Tom Cruise so heavily i won't be suprised if this doesn't last long. When you see couples like Bill Cosby who has been and entertainer for years still married to the same woman and really wasn't in the media all that much, its not easy and these celeberties really need to stop and think before they say I do and really mean it because obviously they don;t.

The only celebrity break up that really took me by surprise was Valerie Bertanelli and Eddie Van Halen. They were together for so long and they were so unhollywood and seemed so good together. Britney and K-Fed, Jessica and Nick, Travis and Shanna (sp?) those were all just waiting for the right time to end.

Well...Im pretty "shook"up now hearing about Reese and Ryan..I had NO IDEA!!They seemed like the perfect couple!I was pretty shocked about Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt..wasnt expecting that one either..oh well!!Just goes to show doesnt it?

i think it not that shocking any more because celebrities are doing it all the time now i just wish there all find one person they actually love and get a long then just get married for the sake of it like Britney when she married her child hood sweet heat or so called
