Chances are this van is a front wheel drive vehicle. The popping noise you hear while turning is the CV joint. Fairly inexpensive to fix somewhere around $200-$350 installed. The CV joint is also known as a centrifugal velocity joint. It is the connection from your front axles to your transmission.

Check the lower control arm/ball joint torque at the frame. Make sure it is at spec. I was getting a popping noise when turning the wheel due to insufficient torque where the ball joint connects to the subframe in my car. Are your CV boots ripped, torn or otherwise damaged? This would cause a clicking/popping while driving around corners. When, specifically, is it popping? At what speeds?

Ok, turn your wheel all the way to the direction you hear the popping. Jack the car up. Spin the wheel. Identify the location from which the popping is coming. Replace worn componant.

I actually have a 2013 Chev Matiz that makes a squeaking noise when I turn the Wheel at low speeds. It doesn´t have ability steerage, so, any thought what the problema is? It basically has 4000 miles!!!
