The winner will probably go on to the National Championship, and if the loser has only one loss they will proably go on to another bowl game, just not the national championship.

It would be like the loser of the NFC title game getting a rematch the very next game. It just doesn't make sense. Even if one team wins the first game and the second team wins the second game it would be champion with a 1-1 record against the team it beat which also doesn't make sense.

well yes, but the voters wont let that happen. they would rather see a sec team or usc play osu that a rematch. same for texas, the votes dont want to see texas play a rematch of a 17 point loss (it really wasnt even that close). it will be florida most likely

It would mean they'd prbably have to play each other again in a rematch, if one is still undefeated and one has a loss. I don't see that happening. They'd probably poll one of the SEC or PAC10 teams. And the pollsters always like ND.
