how do i change the parental level on playstation 2?

i dont wanna keep entering the code for my more mature video games and movies.

it is annoying, to be true, but i've not been able to permanently raise the level. some videos even make me enter the code twice.

the only thing i could tell you is to change the code to "0-0-0-0" so that when it starts, you only need to mash your finger on the X button

to change the code, enter the code 7444 and push select - this will ask what you want to change it to, or something
