Apparently Shadow People reflect back no light, can move through objects; can move very fast and can change direction very quickly. They can be seen in such locations and times such as spooky places at night or in carparks in broad daylight.

Shadow people (also known as shadow men or shadow beings) are a supernatural phenomenon in which observers report seeing a dark form at the edge of their field of vision, that disintegrates or move a wall when noticed, usually within a split second.

Reports of Shadow People are similar to purported ghost sightings, but differ in that Shadow People are not reported as having human features, wearing modern/period clothing, or attempting to communicate. Witnesses also do not report the same feelings of being in the presence of something that 'was once human'.

Some individuals have described being menaced, chased, or (more rarely) attacked by shadow people, there have also been reports of Shadow People appearing in front of witnesses, or lingering for several seconds before disappearing

Most accounts of Shadow People describe them as black humanoid silhouettes with no discernible mouths, noses, eyes, or any expression whatsoever. Though purported witnesses have also described child-sized humanoids, or shapeless masses. Some reports also include glowing red eyes.

Generally, they described as lacking mass, though their specific nature varies from a two-dimensional shadow) to vaporous or distorted 3 dimensional form.

Their movement is often described as being very quick and disjointed, or they may first move slowly as if they were passing through a heavy liquid, and then rapidly "hop" to another part of a witness' surroundings. Some witnesses describe this movement as though the shadow entities they have seen "danced" from one wall to the next.

Typically, encounters are accompanied by a feeling of dread.

Alleged images of Shadow People have been posted on the internet, including one of a Shadow Person in a cemetery, and one in a bedroom.

I've heard that Shadow People are considered to be a kind of ghost. I was watching a 'celebrity ghost-hunter' show on TV and they talked about shadow people. Of course, some 'shadow people' might be people who live in a dimension just slightly under our own, but the Good Neighbors are best left alone.

let's say there is a presence, for arguments sake and you haven't been watching too many horror movies and are imagining things based off of your own fear. the more you give your fears merit the more afraid you will become, lets assume the evil presence cannot directly harm you it knows that by appearing at night time as a shadow this will prove to you that it exists and you will be afraid of it, it's goal is to bring you fear, if it was able to harm you it would most likely prove that to you, it would make you more afraid of it to know that it can harm you physically. since it can only effect you mentally by making you afraid of it, you should defy it by not getting afraid. it will either have to step it up a notch or leave you alone. if nothing happens you will realize that it is either benevolent, a figment of your imagination, or something that isn't there to bring you fear. you are entitled to your own spiritual and religious beliefs. there is no reason to be afraid.

They have been around for centuries. My own great aunt told a story of one that wrecked havic on her families farm. It scared her younger sister so bad that she pretty much lost her mind. The indians believed that they were the ghosts of "old souls". People who had been dead for hundreds of years without passing over. The ancient chinese believed that they were evil spirits who couldn't cross over. Any stories I have heard of them, aren't good. They are never associated with any good and are sometimes witnessed at death scenes. Psychics tell us not to try to communicate with these things. To just stay out of their paths.
