Columbia Hickman (MO) is the Kewpies, as in the little dolls they give out at carnivals. It's a little hard to look tough when your mascot is a baby doll.

There is a private Catholic Boys School on the beach (or what is left of the beach) in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi...very elite...St. Stanislaus. Their mascot is the ROCKACHAW ! A rockachaw is like a sand bur; you know, those round things that you step on with the prickley things all around them? They hurt your bare feet and stick to your socks. I always thought that was funny! but the Chicks...well, I'm not sure they can top that!
