Wait until Nov. 15th. That makes it 18 days past ovulation, which is the safest time to test. My Dr. says that if you go 18 d.p.o. than you are most likely pregnant because your luteal phase (the time after ovulation) is never more than 18 days. Good luck!

I'm not sure if this will help you but...With my third child which I was not prepared for I had my period on Nov. 22 to the 24. Short periods for me.. I had sex from November 27 through Dec. 8. Found out I was pregnant on December 18th. It is really hard to tell but I think that everyone is different. I ovulate after my period. (that is not a fact just a thought.) I know it is important for you to conceive but try to just enjoy the ride, It will happen when the man upstairs is ready.

I think it all depends on the person. All I can say is not to stress about it because the more stress you put on yourself to get pregnant, the harder it'll be. Let nature take its course, just like they say that your period may come late because you're stressed, the same can happen with the pregnancy. You also shouldn't wait until you're ovulating, and try having sex when you're on your period too (more fertile then). I know that when we decided to have my little one I was on the pill and I had a nurse tell me that it would take AT LEAST 3 months for the pills to wear off in my body so I shouldn't even be excited about thinking I may be pregnant until after that. She was wrong, we just had fun and had sex whenever we felt like it and within that first month after getting off the pill, I was pregnant with my little man. Good luck to you!

Its been 14 days so you should be able to tell by now, but there are some women that dont get positives until day 15 or 16...Wait a few more days and try again.

Sorry no experience. I have a little girl and another on the way and both times I got pregnant it's because I didn't get up after sex so all of it stayed inside of me. Hope this helped.

you may usually get a positive reading (with most OTC pregnancy test kits) at 3-4 weeks, or two weeks AFTER missing your period. just sit tight.
