most people either have a dry mouth or overly wet mouth when they lie. check for them to lick their lips or swallow their saliva a lot.

Body language plays a key role. I'm someone who has to look people in the eye when I talk to them, and when people are fidgeting and can't look me square in the face, especially if it's people I know and trust, I tend to be suspicious. 9 outta 10 times I'm right about that person lying

I have always heard that your eyes will veer to the right when lying. I think that it is scientifically proved. I also think nervousness, and speaking very quickly are good signs. Also, if someone gets very defensive about the question, they are usually lying.

There is one major way to find out this information. WHen you ask them a question look at their eyes. If they are thinking their eyes will move to the left, if they are lying to you their eyes will move to the right. Also, you can obviously tell if they aren't looking you straight in the eye.

Well for one, eye contact has a role in it, But my eye contact sucks no matter what. Always has. But yes I can tell for one girl she always says "Like" alot. And another one is when they dart their eyes. Also when there smiling or a little smirk on there face. there are many ways for different people. I have never been a good liar casue tehy can tell by my tone of voice. So I just gave up on it..lol.

Their eyes won't quite meet yours; or just the opposite they'll stare dead into yours, but won't quite be looking at you...subtle and hard to explain. When someone lies, they'll dart their eyes up and to the right. Those are all I know of, but yes I can generally tell when people are lying to me.

They cannot look you in the eye! If you call them on it & make them look you in the eye, they get a goofy defensive look about them. I can usually tell & get people to admit when they're lying, but some are too stubborn.

Most of the time....I think I can tell.....I dont know if its how they act or just a feeling I get......but with my oldest son....I've always been able to tell......When he starts to lie...he says.. "Ummm".....at the beginning.......and pauses too much. He has always been that way. I've never told him how I know..and he is surprised when I catch him lying.....it's like..."man..how did she know?"....but for the most part....its a feeling I get.
