Try a mild nail polish remover. It has acetone which will cut the glue. Test in an inconspicuos place as it may lift coloring from Formica! :-)=

You may try a razor blade and carefully scrape it off. Your question reminded me of a funny incident when radio talk show host Art Bell was on the air live. He came back from a commercial break sounding really weird like he had a speech impediment. He was very distraught as he tried to explain that during the commercial break he was using Krazy Glue, got some on his fingers and accidentally touched his mouth! Now his lips were partially sealed together live on the air! It was both hilarious and endearing. Ya gotta love the poor guy! Good luck with your counter top.

we could desire to be conscious of what the counter proper is created from. no remember if this is plastic laminate, e.g. Formica, use acetone. do no longer enable any get interior the seam of the proper, nor spill down the front. ANY abrasive is a bad theory at this element. that consists of Brillo, metallic wool, comet, and a lot of others. Paint remover, Goof Off, etc. won't touch great glue, that's what yours is.

If your countertop is a hard surface, you can try a razor blade. Acetone usually removes super glue too but it may discolor your counter top.

try acetone, but be sure to clean it well afterwards. if you leave it on there too long, then it will discolor. the brand Goof Off make an adhesive remover as well.

Wait until the glue sets, and then it should peel right off.

Just put something over it that you don't mind having in one spot forever such as a cutting board.
