Rose and Holly - I'm not trying to get people to agree with me.. Make no mistake about it. . . I'm trying to WAKE UP SLEEPING PEOPLE. You are welcome to disagree with my views and opinions. . . . . I don't consider a call for UNITY to be a singular view. .. . .It should cross all party lines...

I agree this country is terribly divided and something needs to be done.
The reason you are getting responses that show divisiveness is because of the way you worded your questions. Starting with "why do Democratic supporters" is intended to point the blame of the divisiveness at the democratic supporters, and immediately puts them on the defensive. Both parties are to blame for the divisiveness. Is one side more to blame than the other? Possibly, but look who has been in power the last few years...if it's been so great there wouldn't be such a division.

The country is divided into two camps - Democratcs and Republicans - only for the purpose of elections, and once that process is completed, as it is now, that division is and should indeed be a thing of the past! This is so in any democracy.

It's kinda funny how the conservatives are all for unity now that you've lost power.
Where were all the unity pleas the last six years???

Too much hatred, stereotypes and generalizations from Republicans. The Republican call for unity is very hollow and insincere. The rhetoric is a poor mask for Republicans hatred of Democrats.

Maybe if you actually showed some unbiased tolerance towards both sides you'd get people to agree with you. But you so obviously support conservatism and republicans over unity. So don't go preaching your BS here until you can get it straight yourself.

You are bringing many smiles to my day.
See, I got a thumbs down for that. Unity? As unrealistic as peace in the middle east.
