there is nothing wrong if we get married with an arabic man.some said that the arabs men are so hairy,so huge,cant control themselves in having sex,love to abuse the women,always want to have more then one wife....

come on man..its not a big deal..all these things depend on someone personality..other men such as europeans,africans,asian,..sometimes they also have this things in their life...there are hairy men everywhere...huge men everywhere..sex maniacs are everywhere and so on...

I am Muslim and I am also African-American. (I live in America). Over here, I see some American women marrying Arab men. It seems that many of the women convert to Islam.

As far as what we think of Arab men, many women think that Arab men are controlling. Which means that Arab men will not allow their wives to have freedom. Because of the opression of women in Arab countries that we see on the news, many American women think that Arab men will want a wife who will sit in the house all day, not work, have 20 children, and not have any fun in life.

I used to want to marry an Arab man, but I heard they are prejudiced (dont like black people)--so I dont want to marry a Middle Eastern man because I am very proud of my culture and my history. Also, whenever I say "salaam-alaikum" to Middle Eatern women, they dont speak to me--so I think that Arab people should remember that Allah teaches us in Koran that he created all colors of people.

I am also very independant--I make my own money, pay my own bills, and I dont want someone telling me what I can and can not do. I will live my life with freedom and happiness.

Make sure you get to really know this person first. You don't mention your age but I know young love can be blind. Just be very careful and take your time getting to know him. Don't let him pressure you into marrying him if you are not ready. This guy may just want to get his green card and once he gets it after you marry him, he will be gone. I have an Arabic friend who is very nice looking and attracted to me, but I will never let it go anywhere.

My reasons are is that hsi ideals of a women's role are not the same ideals of my own.

I am an independant career women and his culture does not suit me.

they are not all the same.
i would not want to marry someone just becuase they were arabic.
i would not decide not to marry someone just because they were arabic.
i think it's best to decide based on the person and the relationship.
however; when two people come from different cultures they often have wildly different expectations about marriage.
so i would definitely do a lot of talking about that.
before any marriage.

i'm not a girl but base on many people i interviewed, they are rather disgusted because they are hairy from head to heels and are very sexually driven, as many said so. I think they would rather be paired up with their camel.
