Saddam deserved to be ousted and brought to justice. I will never argue that. What I will disagree with is how. The United Nations was created for just this kind of situation. The U.S. was/is a staunch supporter of this body. What I cannot understand is how the U.S. after presenting their case for War in front of the U.N. and the UN rejecting the call, can just do it anyway. I am not stupid. The military might of the U.S. is unparelled, no question there, but if the U.S. reasonably expects any nation to adhere to UN resolutions, then shouldn't they abide by the UN. If a "rogue" nation violates a UN sanction(with the exception of Israel) everyone in the U.S. is up in arms calling for this, calling for that. But when the U.S. decides unilaterilly to invade a soverign nation without UN approval, then they are no better than the nation(s)they invade. Either abolish the UN or abide by it. You cannot have it both ways. As far as whether it was the worst decision in U.S. history, time will tell. Vietnam cost way more lives to this point than Iraq. Before all the "hawks" violate me for my opinion, I am a vet, I served my country voluntarily, I never saw any action but my father(WW2) and grandfather(WW1) have. If, the U.S. is in Iraq based on faulty intelligence, Saddam is now in custody, has been tried and convicted. Please do not compound the original mistake by becoming an occuppier and oppresser. Withdraw all troops. NOW. Let Iraq and Iraquis determine their future. There are real problems elsewhere(Darfur, North Korea) where atrocities as bad as Saddam or worse, are being carried out. Let the UN do it's job...

No, but we should have put moe ment and cleaned i tup more quickly and secure the Iran border who is repsonsible for all the trouble. Think about, if you were able to get a democracy up and running in Iraq, the peope of Iran and Syria would start to say, why not us too instead of living under dictators who kill you make any trouble. Iran esecially has a large populaton of which would like to be more pro western, but the radical nut job murdering mullohs hae the guns and soon the nucler weapon.

Nope I think dropping bombs on Hiroshima and nagasaki was a far worse decision Democrats killing civilians when the japan attack killed our military Disgraceful atleast in Iraq the people are fighting against us not innocently going about their day not knowing anything is going to happen and that they are going to die Hmmmm did a Republican make that happen NOPE!!!!!!
Killing innocent people is wrong The democrats don't care who they hurt Be Prepared america our turn is next UP WITH TAXES and probably more terror attacks too. especially with the middle east being happy about the election outcome hmm why would they be happy? Because it makes it easier for them to attack us perhaps.
THANKS DEMOCRATES KISS OUR BUTTS GOODBYE
