I bought a Sidekick2 on ebay and use it in Ireland now. I know i will have limited functions, but as its triband and unlocked any sim should work, but the Privacy lock is on. 3 digits, I emailed the guy how about it and the code he gave was wrong. I tried going emergency calls and pushing JUMP + Shift + S, but nothing!
Can anyone please help!!!?? no smart comments either , thanx :)

the only people that can reset it are the person who knows the code and TMobile...and the problem with trying is i believe after so many attempts, it renders the phone imoperable. Tmobile is not likely to help you because you bought the phone online and i don't believe they offer the hiptop service there yet, just in the UK and Germany.

understand that the main costly piece of a sidekick/cellular telephone/etc. is the month-to-month subscription, not the truthfully gadget. in case you prefer to activate your gadget, you circulate to tmobile, or whomever, and when you purchase subscription to their service, they liberate your gadget so so you might use it with their service. there is incredibly no way around this.
