First, ask yourself what makes you happy - is it being with friends, or shopping? Is it sitting for hours playing computer games, or getting a really good mark at school and people admire you? I am rich. Honestly. I am rich because I am reaping the benefits of living a good life - people trust me, I love myself because I try to do the right thing and have built up strength and integrity and am honest. You need money to survive. Don't let the pursuit of money become your focus in life, though. That is not what it's all about, in spite of what you see in the media, where the richest (Paris Hilton, Trump, Gates) are put at the top of the social pile. Go ahead and learn a trade or get a second job. But try to be someone people will admire and like because they can rely on you for a kind word, or encouragement, or whatever. Most people don't care how much money you have.

Get a job, go to school to learn a skill in an important field. Work hard, cut up your credit cards,----and oh yeah, buy a lottery ticket.

Do what makes sense. Don't waste time doing unnecessary crap. Make good investments. Be able to delegate. Set short term and long term goals. Use the system to beat the system.
