As a humanish figure (like the pictures of the white guy with the beard we see)?

As an immaterial "spirit" or "force" in and around everything?

As nothing at all, because this "God" doesn't exist?

Just curious, because everyone talks of "wanting to ask God things when they die". Is this really going to be possible? Say perhaps God DOES exist...would he "talk" to us like how humans talk to each other on earth?

I view God as an intense clear translucant force of energy with an aoura of melodic sounds and pitches along with the colors of the rainbow who is capable of taking the form of all living things it creates.God to me has no gender,no beginning,no end, never reveals it's true self and that is how it exists in everyone of us.It is the source of all life force which is why we are all connected and that is what makes us all equal.Organized Religion I believe is a way to control the massess but a persons faith and their pratices of devotion are all a means of communicating to the Divine wheater in a Church,at home ,Mosque,Temple etc. Those that believe whole heartadley do have a more hightened understanding of God and life to some level but then there are those who choose to follow flawed human beings and hope that they will lead them to God but time and time again look what keeps happening to the so called religious leaders of our time!I believe that every person bumps into God at certian times in their lives in the very image that that indivdual's imagination precieves God to be but because of thier fears, they ae unable to recognize their Creator.Fear always holds us back which confuses our ability to fully belive and accept. Many people say that they don't belive or that they say that God dosen't exist etc.If you believe then there's no argument and if you don't well then what's the point? You can't see air but take a plastic bag and tie it around your neck and see how long you last.It is fear that breeds the ignorance of non believers and why I say this is because as idols and crossess signify types of religion then noting would be represented by a '0'-ZERO.If we didn't have zero we'd only be able to count to nine but add a zero and the value becomes elevated to infinity. My point is everyone believes in something and it is that belief that trasforms us into believing at some point in our lives.Well enough said-awsome question-peace thanks.Chio!

I guess i would say that I view "God" as an immaterial spirit or force but with it's own consciousness. I do believe he can "talk" to us but not like how humans talk. I think it's something we can't even begin to imagine b/c we (humans) like to put of things (espeically abstract things) in terms we understand, so we make "God" humanlike and "heaven" is a specific place to go, and "talking" as stringing words together to form a thought. What if his way of communicating is so foreign to us that even the word "telepathy" would cover it. So all in all, I think/hope that when we do die there is something else, way beyond what we could possibly understand/comprehand being in this human (corporeal) form.

Personally, God is the name given to the spirit or soul of perfection in the universe. The harmony of perfect good, that "runs the machine". Our physical life here on earth should be one of not only growing mentally, but spiritually too- to reach that place of enhanced knowledge and bonding that Jesus and actually others have attained and taught that we should try to attain also. Note that I don't believe in Hell- just what people create for themselves- and figure we decided before we were born where to come to help ourselves on our spiritual journey- and- ultimately, we always have a choice on which road we take. I gues its more like a vision of "the force". A most powerful thing that we can tap into to help us grow and make our lives and spirits more productive- not a Neptune with a pitchfork. But hey! that's just me!

Well I certainly wouldn't recommend viewing him from a microscope. Might ruin some ideals you have created about him. If God really does exist then the idea of him talking to everyone that goes to heaven is ridiculous. It would be like going to the DMV if everyone had to renew their license on the same day. Just not a good scene.

Spirit or force

I have joked of wanting to ask God things when I die, but no, I do not think he is going to be like Santa Claus up there in an great robe ready to answer all my questions and to check the list to see if my name is on it.

I HOPE that I will see Jesus, who is part of God (the trinity) in his human form. I really think though, that when we get there, we will have no need to ask the questions anymore.

What I find so strange about these questions, is that we live in a country where the teachings of God are found on TV and in Churches on practically every street and yet so many do not know Him. Yet, if you go to some 3rd world countries they trust Him for their daily bread and are grateful. Wake up and search for Him. Search and you shall find. He reveals Himself to man in all kinds of ways that will touch your heart personally. God is spirit and truth, and came to this world as a man, so you could know Him. How would you contact the human race if you were God. Right, as one of them. I know somethings are hard to understand but that is why it is called faith. Faith is a wonderful gift to have in this world. And you don't have to be stupid either. I have a college education and passed in the tops of my class.

I don't believe in a God. I believe in miracles and karma. I also believe that there might be higher powers out there, trying to guide you even in the simple things. Have you ever noticed that if you take a wrong path, you trip along the way. It's like something is trying to tell you "hey, watch where you're going, it's not right." or when you have difficulty getting a cd out of a case its because you're actually grabbing the wrong one. That sort of stuff happens to me often.

God is an incorporeal being, who is timeless in nature, infinite in creativity, knowledge and power; absolutely perfect in thought, word and actions. He is personal and wants to know His creation, man in an intimate way. His mercy, grace and love are boundless and always available. God is holy and hates sin, but loves the sinner. He demonstrate this love by taking our punishment on Himself. To know Him is to have a relationship with the God of the universe. Unlike a religion, this is a living faith. He is the one God and three persons, who are co-equal in all the qualities above. Read Romans 5 and Ephesians 2.

I choose the second item. When we die, we will be free from this material body and our spirit which is immaterial will be back to God.

he is immaternal. He is the wind, the water, the ocean, the fire.
When it say in the bible that God created us to look lke him. it did not mean visually. He ccreated us to look like him in soul. Caring, loving, and lovable.
God is an invisible force guiding us.
