In Canada we have Remembrance Day on Nov 11, and only certain Provinces have it as a stat holiday. The other Provinces have to work on that day, respecting the 2 minutes of silence.
As I am a stay at home mom, I don't get it off, though I do plan on going to Remembrance Day services in my area.

Nope, I work in the real estate business and we hardly get any time off. Just the basic holidays like Xmas, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Memorial Day.

Nope. corporation as well-known. even though, we had a fire alarm and had to evacuate till the FD cleared the construction (somebody left popcorn in the microwave too long) and each and all of the computers on my floor (#5) crashed. extraordinary, huh?
