i don't know. it's just a catchy title for a show.
plus, in the beginning of the show when all the family were on conveyer belts, Robert says "Everybody Loves Raymond"

That show is on my list of favorites.
It's been given that title because it seems like everyone in his family love him and even their relatives, as well as family friends much to his older brother's chagrin.
