cause i have a different mp3 player and i wsa wandering if i can use a friends compter (which has itunes) to put music on it. Or do i even need software?

as far as i know...itunes only loads music onto an ipod. other MP3 players have other methods you'll need to use. they used to be the oh so simple click-drag mass-storage device, at least my PSP was..depending on the age, you may not even need software, just plug it up and see what windows tells you.
