What's wrong with American women?

We had a fire drill yesterday at work and there were probably 1000 women outside. Young and old; all races. Out of 1000 there were about 5 who were cute. It didn't used to be that way. What's happened?

I knew the womens' panties would be in a bunch if I asked this question, but don't shoot me, I'm just the messenger. I'm just telling you what I saw. American women have really let themselves go.

Some replies said that I'm probably not very handsome either, and that's true. But I'm 50, my day is gone. I looked great when I was 30. I'm in good health and I'm not fat, so I'm content.

And I'm not looking for a woman, because I'm married to a woman who takes care of her appearance and is very attractive to me. I'm just observing what seems to be an increasing trend among American women.

Not only do most American women get very overweight, but they cut their hair short, they wear unflattering clothing, they get tattoos, they smoke. In my opinion they get lazy and they let themselves go. If I was not married I would probably stay single. I'm not going to spend my money on women that don't make an effort to keep themselves in shape and attractive.

NO OFFENSE, but American women look very cute when they are teens and early 20's--but after that, Kaput...It's because American women live hard lives--they drink, smoke, and eat every thing under the under the sun. All of that ages women--hard.

Anyway, I heard that when American women go to France--the French people look at American women in shock because American women are sooo out of shape. Dont get me wrong, you can be a size 14 and look great--but its common that when American women hit age 30, they gain tons of weight and just let it go..

I try very hard to keep my weight down, and its amazing how many comments I hear from women--things like "Oh, she's trying to watch her weight--not me!"...Plus, American women eat fast food like crazy. Research shows that fast food is a cause of obesity. Double cheese burgers, cheese fries, 3 meat pizza is NOT intended for everyday use...

Well, no offense to my American sisters, and I dont care if y'all; give me 20 thumbs down--It's the truth! :) :) :)

PS---And this does not apply to all the Mom's out here who are working hard taking care of their children: It's hard to look cute when you have to cook breakfast, change diapers, and give baths--if husbands pitched in more--you Would look Beautiful!

I was looking at some old photographs a few days ago and was wondering that too. None of the women you see around here these days look anything like the women half a century ago. You never see anyone who looks like Ava Gardener or Vivienne Leigh. It's because all the ones with faces like those are fat now. Ever since food processing suddenly improved in the '50s, people in the U.S. have been blowing up like blimps. Women have been getting worse than men because they tend to eat the same portions when they actually need fewer calories. And then they blame it all on McDonald's because a lot of Americans like to play the blame game instead of taking responsibility for themselves. That's what happened.

Its not just American women sweety! there are women who let themselves go all over the globe. And how can u make a judgement on ALL american women by just what u saw at work? Maybe u just caught those women on a bad day! If men would pull HALF the weight women carry at home, maybe we'd have time 2 put into ourselves. Im not blaming men, cuz I believe that when u r n a relationship, u owe it 2 your mate and 2 yourself 2 look good. Besides, you have more confidence when u do.

Almost any woman can be cute if she puts a little bit of time into it. I think women get into relationships and just stop taking care of themselves.

It is overwhelming to most women to try to look like magazine covers. They think they have to look that great to look great, so since it is impossible, they just settle for whatever.

I used to be one of those women. I was great in high school, then got married and had kids, and the last thing I had time for or cared about was looking cute. One day I realized what was happening, and I decided to put a little bit of time and effort into myself. I had to do it for me, not for anybody else.

I have so much more fun now that I take better care of myself. It isn't shallow, it's having some self respect.

Many women don't have time in the mornings to look their best before leaving for their job. Things like making and eating breakfast, packing kid's lunches, getting everybody ready for their day, etc... all fall on a woman's shoulders to do in the mornings. You might have 995 "married with kids" women at your job who have more important things to do than primp in front of the mirror in the mornings. And the 5 you saw that were "cute" were still single with plenty of free time to take care of themselves.
Yes, I admit that there were probably some women out there who just don't care enough to look their best, but some of us have responsibilities that come before our looks. I can't always walk out the door looking great, and don't have enough time to get ready. I have to choose between my own vanity and taking care of my family, and vanity never wins.

THE THING THAT IS WRONG WITH AMERICAN WOMEN IS THE AMERICAN MEN, THE WOMEN SHOULD ALL COME TO CANADA WHERE THEY WOULD BE APPRECIATED MORE. well maybe you should look at it this way the was someone looks to you may not be the same as how they look to them so you may need to ask this question to yourself. Are you standerds of how someone looks to high? the way someone looks on the outside may be diff. from the way they look from the inside I mean you can meet someone very cute and they can have a cold heart but then you can meet someone that you may not think is cute to you but they have a wonderful heart who would you pick? like I say to my kids you should never pick a book by it's cover .
