I do like guns, in fact I own a shotgun.
However, I dislike people who make the suggestion that guns are in any way "toys" (you know the category that you picked for this question) and should be used in any way that is not completely responsible.

I know this won't be a popular answer but.....
Guns kill so no I don't like them (ya I know its the person thats holding the gun - and maybe if they didn't have the gun they would still find another way but I believe guns make it easier to kill)

I like handguns. The 1911 .45acp is my favorite. I also like Sig Sauer guns, Berreta, and Glock.

Old guns. (collectors ) I'm not big on the new ones, their all the same look. I like ones that have hand made handles and detailing on them.

I favor the 1911-a1 military .45. Parts are interchangeable, and easy to find. Ammo is available, and easy to find. It can be field-stripped using no tools. Makes BIG holes, Lots of them....

I have a collection, but they are all old and ones that I inherited. I have a single-shot bolt action .22 remington targetmaster that is about 80 years old, maybe more.
