I heard he's not in good health. Will the yankees be as dominant and obnoxious if someone else takes over? Just curious.

His son in law is supposed to take over when he resigns/dies. From what I read in the NY Daily News everyday though, his son in law seems like a real moron.

His son-in-law, Steve Swindall, is actually running the team now. Randy Levine is Team President and Cashman runs the operation. Georgie has given his creative assistance from time to time on deals being made like the Sheffield deal two years ago. From what i've read Georgie has taken a step back from the operation.
We look to be as dominant and twice as Obnoxious next year especially if we get that Japanese Pitcher.

It's all about the $$$. If the son-in-law is willing to dump $210+ million a year into the Yankees, they will continue to be the best team money can buy. If not, the AL East will go back to being a free-for-all as it was through much of the 80s and early 90s.

from what everyone says here in nyc he is in good health, however if George decides to not run the Yankees anymore then his son-in-law takes over. but it is finally Cashman's team, he now has totally control of the baseball operations. The Yankees will be fine and for now so is the boss

What happens? Nothing. They'll stay the same. The rest of the personnel are still there.

By the way how did that whole World Series thing work out for the Tigers?

They will go through a fire sale then a rebuilding period, because no other owner will over pay for guys who only have 1 or 2 good seasons left in them
