Yes. Some phone services have texting available on their websites. I know for sure you can text on US Cellular's website, and I'm pretty sure Verizon too.

You can do it many ways. One way is from an IM program such as yahoo. Another way is through a cell phone company website such as T-Mobile, Cingular or Verizon. For the second method you must know what service the person has.

There used to be 2 Companies in the UK that offered that service!
(Orange and 02).You simply register(On-Line) and it allows you so many free texts per day!
Maybe Verizon or Nextel offer the same thing from their web page?

in case you have not got infinite texting you're able to get a cost for receiving the text fabric. in case you do have infinite texting then it won't fee something with the help of sending a message out of your workstation.
