The movie starred levar burton,it was about murder.He is walking down a sidewalk at night and finds a book.They frame him for murder.It seems like it was set in New Orleans.I hope someone can help I would like to see the movie again,it is a really good show.

I remember him for Reading Rainbow. I don't know they movie. Cuba Gooding Jr was in one similar to that called Murder for Crows.
