Is anyone as ticked off as me that Lost will not be on again untill Feb. Does anyone know about the "black smoke" any ideas? Do you really think Henry is dead. does anyone believe that they will let Jack and everyone off the island and send them home. I don't.

I actually think it's a great idea that they wont be running new episodes until February (though I would prefer January). I had a real tough time being able to watch the show last holiday season. The night before thanksgiving I spent in a packed bar with my ear literally pressed up against the TV because ABC was dumb enough to run a new episode of Lost that night. It will be worth it in the long run, 16 brand new episodes in a row, you'll be glad you waited.
Okay now about the black smoke, it goes with the purgaotry theory, at least in my book it does. Think about it, Echo did horrible things (which he had to) but wouldn't repent for them so the black smoke took him I'm guessing to hell as when Locke said he almost died, he saw a beautiful white light. Just a guess, right now I'm running with the psychological experiement.
Onto Henry, I don't think he will die because I would just love to see that too much lol. Seriously though, there was no way they were letting Jack go, I'm sure they screwed over Michael and Walt too which we will find out I'm guessing come February. Jack did the right thing and I'm glad. I thought he was just out for himself after he saw Kate and Sawyer ....um.... having a moment :)

I wouldn't say I'm ticked off, but I am annoyed by ABC's decision.
Black smoke is some manifestation of the island, but who knows what kind of manifestation?
I don't think Henry/Ben is dead, nor do I think Jack will kill him.
And, no, Henry/Ben's promise to Jack about letting him off the island is not quite what Jack thinks, if he, Kate & Sawyer really are on a separate island. I think Henry/Ben will just let Jack go back to the original island, therefor keeping his promise.
But I think Juliet is the really intriguing character throughout all of this. What is that woman up to?

Ya - I am ticked off! They should have just given us 1/2 hour episodes!
I don't think Henry/Ben is dead - he didn't die in the episode.
No idea what the black smoke monster is. I always thought it was something that went after bad people. No clue.
I don't believe for a second they'll let Jack, Kate and Sawyer go.
What I don't understand is why Jack didn't insist to see Kate and Sawyer before the surgery. He should have made a deal with Ben other than the lame one "get me off this island"
and of course Ben is going to say yes. But Jack thinks he's still on HIS island.. so Ben will let him go, back to the other island, keeping his word. He never said he'd let him go HOME.
I'm sad Eko is gone... but I was confused by his back story. He was a bad man who took a fake identitiy, a holy man, and turned out good?
Kate's story totally blew. enough of her. Who cares!

YES! after waiting months for season 3 we only get 6 measly episodes. black smoke-no idea! henry is probably dead. cant see the others getting off the island
to me (the person who answered above :P) : I hope you 'borrowed' Josh Holloways parents cell phone and copied his phone numbers-that's what I would have done! :D

better to wait til feb than to hop back and forth in the timeline like last season....confusing.
there are theories that the black smoke is nanobots? guess we have to wait and see.
in one of the podcasts the powers that be said that 'smokey' was not supernatural, so my guess is technological

I am very curious as to the black smoke monster myself. I don't think they'll be able to go home. Too many questions and no LOST until February! :(

YEA, i dont like to be left hanging, and also i know the parents of the man who plays sawyer, we stayed in their bed & breakfast when i was in Alabama for a family reunion!
