Rooms in Radiology are shielded to whatever the state and federal requirements are to prevent radiation from continuing to areas where they might affect somebody elses health. Other than the standard cleansing solutions used, the only other chemicals are IPA and chemical contrast (a mixture of saline with Iodine used to make the vasculature show up brightly under CT exam)
