Make 1400 a fraction so its 1400/1 and cross mulityply by 7/10 so it would be 7/10 times 1400/1 which is 14000/7 then dived 14000 by 7 and you get 2000 so x equals 2000

First shift the ten to the right-hand side. Hence it'll be 14000. and on the left you're left with 7x. then shift the 7 to the right hand side and you'll get 14000/7 = 2000. So, x = 2000
7/10 x =1400
7x=1400*10
7x = 14000
x= 14000/7
x = 2000

Hope it hepls!!
