The High Chaparral debuted on NBC in the year 1967 until 1971. It was created by David Dotort who is also the creator of Bonanza. The TV show starred Leif Erickson as the main character Big John Cannon.
The High Chaparral revolves on the story of the Cannon Family. They manage the High Chaparral Ranch located at Arizona Territory. Aided by his brother Buck and son Billy Blue, he wants to establish his own cattle empire despite the hostility of Indians. High Chaparral. Son Blue was played by Mark Slade. Buck was the ranchers brother and Blue's uncle and the ranch hand Manolito was played by Henry Darrow and was the brother to Victoria.

The sons were: Adam; Horse; and Little Joe
Adam looked Latino, so may have had the Mexican mom
