I know people who consider it an absolute truth that Bush won by voting fraud. With that being the case, The republican senators who just got spanked at the polls should have been able to employ the same methods to maintain control, right?

One respondant claimed that I was whining. I wanted to be clear on the nature of this question. I am not intending to whine, just sort out the logic of the situation. Another claimed that the fraud was not used because 'the people know now.' That sounds like something a child would say. Is it time for the 'force field'? If there were fraud last time, and the Republicrats wanted to do it again without losing power (note that keeping power is the real objective here), why wouldn't they have simply lost some elections, or won by a small margin, rather than being ousted?

RoseSpectre666 also claims that the republicans are the 'conspiracy theory' party. I guess she must have missed a few of the events that would seem to prove otherwist, namely 1. claims of a 'vast right wing conspiracy' by Hillary Klinton, when the true conspiracy was a Democrat lie. 2. Claims that Bush was responsible for 9-11 by Democrats, despite the fact that 911 had been in planning, and even attempted prior to Bush's election. 3. claims that Bush has a Hurricane machine that sent Katrina. 4. Claims that Bush blew up the levies when his hurricane machine sent Katrina. This is the part where you Democrats should get flustered and tell me to get off the topic of Klinton purgery, since it was so long ago, and he only lied about sex. I will, but I will also point out that while he was distracted by a girl his daughter's age, 9-11 was in planning.

I would have to say hardly any election fraud was happening at the polls this time because the Government now knows that the American people are on to them. I will go out on a limb and state that we are reaching a point in history that we could for the first time see Independents starting to gain power over the Republican Party at the polls because of incompetence!

I'm a Republican but the truth is the truth!

Right On Sister! You are so right and keep it coming girl. There has been so much whining by the Democrats it totally makes me want to jump out of my seat. I was surprised at the elections because I still feel that Bush tried to do his very best and is still doing a good job today. The poor people were finally able to buy house at low interest rates better than ever before. Many things he has tried to do got blocked by the people in congress Democrat and Republican. I just wish everybody would understand.
Also our Governor of Tennessee; who is a Democrat just got voted back in. He also recomended Lowe Finney a (democrat also)voted in on this election in tennessee; well our governor of tennessee stopped the TennCare Health program for many people in Tennessee without children; who were low income and didnt have jobs or recieve any form of government assistance. Many of these people do not have money to see their doctor or go to a hospital and do not have any insurance. The hospital emergengy room is putting them in debt. A lot of them are on several meds and they are mentally Ill, these are not patients in a mental intitution. They are only recieving temporary help which should stop after December this year.

Seems like they should have if its true . Bush won fair and square. A lot of military votes were not cast because Florida was called for Gore before the polls closed in the central time zone of the state and Gore got many absentee votes from overseas military thrown out.

I dont think there was fraud perse. But democrat or republican you have to admit that this is getting silly, all these problems during elections. You would think we could grasp the concept of punching a hole in paper without leaving it hanging.

Republicans won't do that. They now realize they pissed off their voters and accept defeat. Dems cannot accept defeat and in two years, if it goes back the other way, then you will see the lawsuits and recounts and allegations fly. One of the problems with republicans is that they are too nice to democrats when democrats are outright vicious to them. I don't understand why they don't put the gloves on and fight for what's right. Probably another reason they were voted out. Voters want politicians who will fight for them.

My opinion anyway....

I find the hypocrisy of conservatives funny. Always talking about these "dem conspiracies" for whenever they win. Yet any other time they're always talking about how democrats and liberals are "whining" about republican frauds. Get off your high horse and QUIT WHINING.

Actually, there were some problems reported in some states, but since it was expected and prepared for, it didn't change the outcome.
