This is also known as ENICF day.

My School did not do any thing on that day, except for one year. We planted trees in a National park near Boriworly(Bombay). It was call Children's Day.

Schools in India and many countries are year around schools with lots of holiday breaking up the school activities(studies). At the end of the year teachers actually have to have extra classes during lunch time and even on Sunday to complete the course work.

This is no different then making up the snow days in USA.

what not...whatever the children like, you have to do... like giving chocolates, buiscuts.. playing games... singing songs... stage shows... dances.... flowers... fancy dresses... colours... balloons... musics.... shouting... everything what ever they like, we have to do along with they... and what not.. you too should become like a child and do all these things along with them... they will not forget this day in their whole life
