Find the result of the following reaction.
Zn + H2O4 --> ???

H2O4 means "H sub 2, O sub 4"

This question freaks me out. Please help.

yields "H2 + Zn2O3"

my guess would be that Hydrogen would be liberated leaving Zinc Sulphate i.e. Zn + H2O4 = H2 + ZnO4
Depending on temp. and pressure it could be
Water is formed leaving Zinc Sulphite
i.e. Zn + H2O4 = H2O + ZnO3

well it depends on the tempeture and preasure conditions but more than likely youlle end up with H2+ Zn2O3
