So many things impact this - how much weight was gained during pregnancy, how much you exercise, if you breastfeed your baby or not. On avg it takes 6mths to a yr I think... dont push yourself too hard or feel bad about not fitting into those pre-pregnancy jeans. I gained 30lbs, breastfed my baby, am mildly active, and was back in my jeans by 5mths. My best friend gained 70lbs (yeah, a lot, but she was pretty thin before she got pregnant), breastfed, and took about 1yr. It took about 9mths to put that weight on, expect the same to get it off!!

It took a month. After I had the baby I still looked 5 or 6 months pregnant. I did not exercise while or after I was pregnant, but I did eat good.

The best advice is to breastfeed, at least at first. Breastfeeding contracts your uterus muscles and tightens up your stomach.

Also while you are pregnant you don't have to give into cravings such as ice cream or fast food. (If you are craving McDonald's french fries go home and have a baked potato) Or do so in moderation and small portions. Eat healthy food for you and the baby

It varies from person to person. I got active after delivery of the baby, had to do a lot of domestic chores without any help at all. And I think I also lost some sleep to attend to the baby day and night. Hence, I got back my normal shape within 2 months.

Every woman is different. It depends on your pre-pregnancy shape, level of activity and weight gain during pregnancy, metabolism and whether you decide to breastfeed, level of activity and diet post-partum, probably other things too that I haven't thought of. For some women it happens before they leave the hospital after giving birth, and for others it can take much longer and require and lot of patience and perseverance. Good luck.

depends on if you excercised while pregnant, or how much weight you gained, but if you breastfeed you will lose the weight much faster. It took me about 2-3 months to get rid of the 40lbs i gained. Everyone is different, healthy eating/excercise/breastfeeding definitely help.
