Very good kissers.
Films are outstanding.
TV and music not so good. (Camille is wonderful though.)
Food is nice though not as nice as the French think - same for the wine. (British food has come up in standard and is easily as good. Our wine absolutely stinks though.)
Thoughtful, intellectual, artistic. Not, in gerenal, so scientific.

Some French people are hard to take, but that's true to a greater extent of Americans too, esp. those from New York City. Personally, I like the French. Two French women have had tremendous impacts on my life: for one, I moved to France and lived there for several years; the other, I met while living there, and married. I've been going to the Riviera to refresh my mind and spirit every couple of years for several decades now, and my love for and fascination with the people and the place are still as strong as ever.

I do not like the french, it probably comes from me growing up in kent. they used to come over for day trips, I found them rude, arrogant, and a little smelly. I found this even worse when i visited paris with my school some years ago.i have to say if i never met another french person i would not care.
And you ALWAYS go on strike and block up the ports and in the past have burned and killed english drivers livestock on their lorries.

If they are something close to Victor Hugo, Jean Paul Sartre, Albert Camus, Monet, Manet, Voltaire, Rousseau (born in Geneva), Gaugin, Beaudelaire, de Bovoir and many many others they have to be great.

Franc is a beautiful cultured country.I went to Paris last summer,what a beautiful city.A real treasure.French culture is up there with Japanese/chinese culture.Very sophicated nation.Be proud to be French!

they are the people of France obviously. They have Celtic and Italic tribes in their blood which makes them different from Latin people like the Spanish, Portuguese, Italians, Sardinians, Rumanians and Montenegrins. They invented the "French Fries" and the "French Kiss" obviously.
They are "Italians in a bad mood".

I have some negative feelings about france and the french because they are the only nation to have carried out a terrorist attack on New Zealand.
Fortunately the only people killed in the attack were greenpeace members so it somewhat cancels about my above concerns.
