how difficult is an ebay sight to build

building such a website from scratch, would be a tough as well as time consuming task..to make it professional and secure, and to debug, it will take a months to build a website like e-bay..
the easier way would be to use CMS desinged to handle online shopping.. some of CMS are free while some are available for purchase.

It's not very difficult, you can search online for ebay template pages and all you have to do is fill in the blank. I'm not sure of the names as i build my own templates, but just do a google search for "free ebay templates" and you will find tons. There are other factors needed to sell online, you cannot expect someone to just buy your items right away. I have been selling on ebay for 6 years and i have not found a way to quit my job. LOL. it's good extra income for spending money. You can also do a search for "free ebay ebooks" that will give you more info to selling on line. Hope my question helped!

You could do it easily using Joomla as your platform, there are free addons that will allow you to run an auction site. Joomla is pretty easy to configure and learn. Message me if you need help.

building it is the easy part. promoting it, and getting people to use it (while making money) is the hard part.
