Ladies, hello.
My question for today is so-- if you use ovulation prediction test, but if it happens that you've already ovulated, what will the test show? Just very much interested in this info since I haven't found the answer in the test derictions. Please, answer if you know for sure. Thanks in advance.

As you know, sometimes due to the stress ovulation can happen earlier or a bit later that the due time. So, yesterday i used the test and it showed a little fertile. today i wiil use it again , and if necessary tomorrow. But I was interested what will it show in case of early ovulation.

You can't be a little fertile. Either you are or you aren't. The ovulation predictors will always pick up the hormone levels. It's when they spike that they can idicate that you are ovulating. That is what the tests are for. Now, if the line test line never gets darker than the control line you may not be ovulating. That is what happened with my first child. We had to go through fertility treatments, but we ended pregnant with no help at all this time. About your timing, ovulation typically happens fourteen days after the first day of your period in a normal cycle. Count your first day of your period as one and then so on and so forth. Start your testing on the 12th day and keep going from there, it may take a couple of weeks but you have to be patient. Every one is different. Good luck, I hope this helps.

I used them once, but they weren't accurate for me because I take fertility meds. However, the directions in mine said to start testing a few days before expected ovulation (in case you do ovulate earlier). I would have sex whenever it showed you are fertile - even a little. Good luck.

Everyone says 14 days after ovulation but I ovulate 5-7 days after my period. You can try a test then. Go to www.babyhopes.com they work great and are much cheaper than the store.

Try before or after your mentrual cycle. That should lead you in right direction.
