I have sortof a mixed reaction to this. I loved (adored even) the first season of the show. By the end of last season, I was burnt out. I was tired of questions never being answered and only more questions being raised. I was sick of so many of the characters too. However, I have a bit of renewed hope in the show again. I am starting to grow very fond of the character of Sawyer who I previously loathed. I am not too crazy about Jack anymore either. I couldn't stand Mr. Echo, so I was glad when he died. In fact, many of the characters who have died have been annoying in my opinion, so I haven't shed any tears over their departures. I am sortof agitated that they are taking the show off the air for such a long hiatus again, but there are supposed to be 15 new episodes back to back when it returns. Who knows... if things continue to happen on the show, I'm giving it until the end of the season. After that, I'm finding something else to watch.

It could've been great if they had let the story run for a year or two. Trying to drag it out over 5 years is making it reeeeeaaaally stupid in retrospect. "Let's see how we can screw with the audience this week." The fact that they killed off all the tailies and "the numbers" no longer have any significance make watching season two a complete waste of time. I want my 24 hours back (24 episodes of 1 hour each).

have just been dissing this on another question - Lost is Twin Peaks in the Pacific! It started off with a great premise, good special effects then like TP wandered into upitself territory. But the audience figures are dropping as people tire of the endless flashbacks and it wont be long before the writers slip up with the characters, the show is cancelled and they have to wrap it up in one or two eps thereby rendering it crap and leaving those poor saps who bought the DVD/.soundtrack/dolls/clothing range scratching their heads....or in true Lost mode....they end up as the longest running franchise on TV, we have a jokey spin off of Jack as a 'scrubs' type ER doctor and Hurley as a 'Friends' type cant get a date kinda guy....as for Sawyer....he ends up modelling for Janice Dickinson....ok - I will stop now before I reallly vent my spleen

I tried to get into it. I really did. So many people said it was really good. I don't noramally go with the crowd, but so many people said it was good, I kept trying to get into it. I just found it to be the biggest load of carp on tv ever. I think everyone got caught up in the hype - in ten years time, they'll all sit around going "No, it wasn't that good." as people do now with Twin Peaks, the X-files etc. Never got into them. Don't see the point. Most tv is shirte.

I don't watch it - I tried to watch the first one and got too scared at the freaking kind of shimmery figure running through the woods. After quickly turning over(!!) I never returned so cannot see what all the fuss is about. However, other seem to love it but I can certainly think of lots of other programmes I would rather watch, or other things I would rather be doing!

I used to love it when the first series started but now I find it really annoying and boring. I can't be bothered to sit and wait for answers and I certainly am not going to sit through another 5 series to find out what happens! It has all turned into nonsense now.
Don't worry, you do not stand alone!!

Great concept...but now getting really dull. especially if it is true that infact all the charactoers are already dead, and the island is pergatory (spelling) and the monster is the devil, and you only die when you have resolved the issue of your living life and go to either heaven or hell...well it explains how cancer women is no longer suffering from cancer and whats his name can walk...but my problem is what is the dog doing there...will we see flash backs to its past when it was a bad puppy...as you can tell, I aint been watching it for sometime now cos I cant even remember any of their names

I watched a few episodes however I couldn't stand the flash backs. Plus the story line just got nuttier and nuttier. I don't mind watching nutty shows however I like to know they are nutty before I start watching.

Halleluiah, a kindred spirit.
I watched the first couple of episodes of this pile of sh*te after hearing all the hype about it. I have to say, I got bored almost immediately.
2D characters, impenetrable plot, "shock" twists that a blind guppy could see coming and a creative team who are obviously on mogadon or some other "downer" drug.
You're much better off watching Jericho or Heroes.
