Friendship is knowing peoples, caring for them , spending time with them and enjoying . But love is relationship. When you love someone u do have to link with a relationship. There can be many compromisses in friendship but not love. Friendship is done for a company of a few time . Love is for one whole life. You can leave your friend , not love. Friend may be alot in this world , but true love is rare. That is the difference. To say in proverb you can say " Love is life and friendship is time pass".

i have heard that "Friendship happens in that special moment when one person reaches out to another and makes a difference that NO one else can make" Now there are some people you could say this about love!!!!!!!!!! So maybe that is a very thin line between love and friendship!!!!!!!!! But then in order to fell in love, you really start out as friends then you may end up together!!! Then when you have friends most of the time you love and care about them that you look out for them and make them happy when they are feeling sad and you also you or they can come and talk to you about anything, and much more!!!!!!! Now doesn't that sound like LOVE or being in a relationship? I think they may just be one of the same, but then it depends on how you see things!!!

This is possibly the zillionth time that such a question is being posted here and so it is more of an eyesore. For your information, there is no difference. If there is no love then it is not friendship. You can take that level of love and friendship a notch farther to make your friend your soul partner. That's all.

Theresa a very thin line of control b/w friendship & love & it is the next degree to friendship nothing more. relation ship grows more & then breaks i.e. u are neither frnds nor lovers thus end of a relationship.

the difference is that friendship seems to be everywhere , let it be a true one or a false.you can do friendship with many love with only one. well in other words ,the advanced stage of friendship is called love.

You don't necessarily love you partner in friendship but in love friendship is embedded. For example two boys or two girls can be good friends without being gay or lesbians this is friendship. I hope you got it now.

i think friendship is far better than love coz wen u love dearly there's a chance of drawbacks but in friendship there is scope for recovery!!

friendship is freinds till the end. will do anything at least what you know is right for a friend, and as my grandmother use to tell me love is a tingling ich that noone can scratch but the love of your life and i know its very true

Well there is no difference bcuz u even love ur freinds is it not?
It depends what kind of love u are talking about if it is passionate then one needs to be ur freind before u fall in love with him/her but if its ****** then beware buddy bcuz thats neither freindship nor true love its just making yourself fool.
