Lots of jobs are far more important than politics. Who grows you food? Who built you houses? Who provides electricity and water?

Don't worry. Bush is still president, after all.
Many of the new democrats are more conservative than usual, and won't agree with Nancy Pelosi.
Bush won't necessarily sign bills that Congress agrees on. He still has veto power, and neither side has the 2/3 majority to override his veto.
The moderates will probably vote with the republicans rather than the democrats.
All is not lost! It's an interesting result, but not a disaster. I'm watching with interest to see how the dems face their challenge.
And like the other member suggested, listen to Rush, and Hannity, and don't forget Neal Boortz. None of them are panicking, and they can explain what's going on, and be hugely entertaining at the same time. I've been impressed with their analysis so far.

Relax you worrying will not change anything. Things have been worse in the world before, think of the Black Plague or WW2 everything will turn out fine, things are not that bad right now.

Stop reading or watching the news. If anything of consequence happens, you'll notice it, because either people will be banging on your door to tell you, or everyone will load up their trucks and make for the hills, just follow them then, and relax for now.

Umm, it is good to be concerned about politics and world issues. But get a grip on yourself.
