My mom is having pretty major surgery this morning and I can't be at the hospital with her. Last time she had surgery, she almost died and was in ICU in a drug induced coma for pain for several months. I'm extremely worried about my mother.

When I woke up this morning, my husband had already left for work and there were flowers and a sweet card on the table and in the card he had written a note about how things are going to be okay and his cell phone will be turned on all day off- even during his meeting at work and if I need him for anything not to hesitate to call and he'd come running...

That was just something sweet he did today..

On June 2nd of this year, he adopted my daughter from a previous relationship and has been the only daddy she's ever known. He's also the best daddy she could have hoped for.

Sorry you mom is sick, I wish her well........ Sounds like you have a special guy there and when you are calm and peaceful you should do something special for him.........

My husband gave me an address and told me to go there..... I did not knowing where I was going and for what and it ended up being that he prepaid for me to have a massage so I can relax. The surprise really was on him when he found out that the women he paid had broke her wrist and I was given a massage by a man........he was not happy......l

When I was 16 and we were dating he saved money by doing odd jobs to buy me a ring with my initial on it. We have been married a long time and over the years there have been lots of surprises and gifts but the memory of him giving me that ring will always come first in my heart. I still have it.

Too many things to count.
1) He brings me breakfast in bed or sometimes 3 Musketeers(which I love) when he gets home from work.
2) I am quite pregnant, and I have trouble putting my socks on now, he does it for me.
3) He babies me completely. He's always looking out for me. I had a small cut on my hand from a fallen mirror, and I had to talk him out of taking me to the hospital.
Most importantly, he loves me and he always tells me how beautiful I am, how much he loves me, etc. He's so good to me.

I have read this question 3 times and wondered about responding to it so here goes....I was married to may husband for 18 years. I remember when we use to lie in bed cuddling with each other and he would say "When I leave this world I want to go just like this holding you in my arms." One morning I awoke and he didn't...that was 3 years ago and he did just exactly that...holding me...I miss him..

When I came home from work, all the lights were out and as I look up the stairs I see candles lit all the way up to the top. He told me before I make any movements, strip!!! So I did. As he was rolling the camera he led me to a candle lit bathroom with red rose peddles all over and even in the tub of hot water. He helped me get in and kept the video gowing as I began to cry...

I said, "I don't" when standing hand in hand at my would be wedding, I did her a favour when I finally got up the guts to admit to myself that I didn't find her worthy of a commitment. She is now happy, and has found someone who adores her.
