Ok, in the past its Imran Khan no question.
Becuase he is about the only 'all-rounder' who could justify getting selected for his bowling (av. 22) or batting (av 38)
Kapil dev's wicket total was a function of about of games played (bat av. 31, bowl av. 29)
Richard Hadlee got 3 less wickets, in 50 less matches, bw av. 22 bat av. 27.
Currently the best statistically I would guess is Pollack, but in the last 3-4 years his has been no where near as good, whereas someone like vettori is getting better
Flintoff would be the best all-rounder in the world, because he is equally good with the ball and the bat. He can win games with both. Talented batsman, and quality bowler. (last 3 years, bat 40, bowl 27)
I can't think of anyone else in the world other than Pollock that would be true for. Kallis is really a batsman who bowls a few overs - Like Garfield Sobers, who has a great batting average 57, bw av. 34

You are the best all rounder in the world. Every one is having talent but in some people it is hidden , where as some have exposed. So none in the world is normal , everyone is having skills & some born talents.

Well i think the best allrounnder in the world is
1. Kapil Dev(India)
2.(if u saw the icc cup2006)Daniel Vetorrie(New Zealand)(he should consider himself a good allrouder just look at his scores!)
3.Abdul razaaq( u shold see his batting and bowling)
4.Shun Pollock ( The Best At Hit or get out philosophy)
5.Andrew Symonds(Strong powerful batsman, has a lot of potential and has a springy gowling action which favours him)
Hope That Helps!

Its gonna be out of kallis, flintoff, symons and afridi. I would say that kallis is a far better batsman than flintoff, but flintoff is a better bowler. It has to be flintoff just because he has the added pressure of being a captain aswell as being the talisman of the england team. No other of the above mentioned is also a captain.

In terms of the number of runs scored and wickets taken, it is undoubtedly our very own Kapil Dev, though he was in reality more of a bowler than a batsman. But the one who added a touch of class to both was Sir Gary Sobers of the West Indies.
