I am wondering if vaginal dryness is a sign of pregnancy. I have had unprotected sex the 29th of October, the 2nd of November, and yesterday. I am due to get my period on the 15th. I took a Clear Blue Easy digital pregnancy test which says you can test 5 days earlier and it was negative. I have been feeling really tired, though I wonder if that's just me being overanalytical since I am usually tired no matter what. I have not had any other symptom except feeling hungrier than usual, and again, that could be me overanalyzing since I eat when I feel hungry normally and don't notice the exact timings.

It is highly possible that you may be pregnant based on the dates you've had sex and the date when you said you are expecting your next period. Though vaginal dryness is not a sign of pregnancy. In a woman's cycle, the vaginal fluid changes consistency and there are also period of dryness where there is no noticable vaginal fluid at all. You may just be in the time of your cycle where it is "dry".

If you take a pregnancy test too soon, it will no show you a positive result, even if there is a chance you are pregnant. Why? Here's why. When a sperm fertilizes the egg, the fertilized egg then has to travel down the fallopian tube to the uterus in order to implant itself to the uterine lining. Once it implants itself, the fertilized egg then starts producing hCG, which is the hormone that indicates whether a woman is pregnant. The implantation takes about 4 to 7 days to happen. So if you took the pregnancy test before the implantation happens, then you will get a negative result.

If you are pregnant, you should get a positive result in a week. If you get a negative by then, then you probably aren't pregnant.

No its not a symptom of pregnancy...Usually women will actually have more wtness and discharge during the early stages of pregnancy until birth, u will feel moist down there almost all the time, the dryness is probably a symptom of pms..u are just days away from your period which causes women to become dry. The fatigue and cravings and such are also very common signs of pms. Take another test after your period is due if it is late to be sure, but u are most likely not.. I hope u do get the baby u want soon, good luck!

Maybe you could be getting your period? That is why you are getting these symptoms. Just cause it is dry does not mean your pregnant.
