what experience have you had using the website""myspace""?

i personally think myspace is for fun, and to be taken so serious. some people take their page so serious, or think they are some kind of superstar. have you met someone through this website, or are you like me only behind the computer...........what is your experience.

None. For the following reasons...
-It is unsafe. Many crimes have occured on MySpace
-There are a lot of stupid people there who I do not care to talk with
-The blogging software itself is a bit... weird, and under-average. I make websites with PHP and HTML, not MySpace

And I'm sure that there are more reasons to come up with, but this is just a waste of my time.

I think it is a waste of time. I think people with low self esteems that think it necessary in order to boost their egos are the main people using it and other sites like it.
Teens are clearly using places like MySpace to establish social status. How do young males establish social status? By posting manly, daring images and information that demonstrate independence and bravery and by being listed as a friend on as many profiles of "hot girls" as possible. And how do girls establish social status? By posting sexually provocative pictures and titillating information that attracts the attention and friendship links of manly guys. How does any teen attract attention? By posting hot, intimate information. The teens who are into playing these games are the ones who are most likely playing these games on places like MySpace.
