Could someone write me a war poem, not too complicated (I'm only 11).
It has to be about World War One.
If you are not posting a poem please do not post.
It has to be 3-5 verses (of 4 lines each).
if you post only a verso or two it's still OK (I can put them together with others to form a poem.
It MUST be in ryme.

This was from a war film that I recall.... Carve her name with pride.

The love that I have is all that I have,
The love that I have is yours.
The peace of my years in the long green grass,
Shall be yours and yours and yours.

Hope it helps a little.

why don't you try using a few words associated with your topic and start writing the poem yourself. do you get what i mean ?? choose two rhyming words in your context and write the first two lines then choose two more and go on like that . try it out . it works......... best of luck

I think you should do this yourself. You may learn a thing or two why the soldiers fought this war, and why we have to remember. (It's Remembrance Day in Canada tomorronw)
