Since you have asked that question I now wonder what you are capable of, what your beliefs and values are, and should you act in reflection of them, whether your actions would challenge my values and beliefs.

Should I decide to focus on the latter, what you do would indeed matter to me. Since I don't know you, there is little way of knowing what you would actually do. However I would be left wondering, as said, what you are capable of, and this would unnerve me.

To have any idea of your capabilities would probably be impossible. In reflection of this, anything you do would matter to me as it would give me an idea of your abilities.

In a biological sense, we are all part of that closed ecosystem that exists on earth. As in all ecosystems, the actions of any individual element will have some influence on any other given part of the system.

For instance - if you were to travel somewhere in a car, this would matter to me as the car emissions would be contributing, however little, to global warming. This, in collaboration with the thousands of other energy-driven activities happening daily, would effect the whole ecosytem.

So, we can look at this in two ways - firstly, I don't know you, you don't know me: why would our actions matter to each other? Alternatively, secondly, we could look at the bigger picture - we are all connected someway, and every action does, in some way, however insignificant, affect everything else.

You will find the answer if you watch a colony of ants. Does a ray of light ever turn to the sun and say, "I am going to be darkness now." The ray of light was made light and must remain so. Keep looking for yourself, and you will find your true self at length.

Everything you do affects me. If you do something nice, it affects me. If you do something mean, it affects me. If you ignore me, this also affects me. If you do something bad or good to others this also affects me.

If you do something bad, I could think less of you than I do.
I could feel disappointment that you could do something so thoughtless.

If you did something good, I could be very thankful that you were in my life. You might make me feel better just by showing how helpful you could be to someone else. I would admire your compassion and loyalty. I might even love you for your actions.

Be good and remember the golden rule.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
