If Lennon's got any sense he'll stay put with a manager who respects him and plays him for at least another season. Why go to Chelsea and become another Wright-Philips. He's doing excellent work for Spurs at the minute and hopefully Jol will manage to keep him from losing his head. Besides do we really want a benchwarmer like Wright-Philips at White Hart Lane in return for sending Lennon the other way. It's not a fair deal, but it's classic Mourinho - sniffing around and poaching talent that he wouldn't be able to cultivate himself. It's not all about money, José, it's about skill and respect.
Oh yeah . . . I forgot to add - 2 -1 to the Spurs. The sweetest feeling, well worth the wait. Come on Man Utd at the end of the month!!

There's absolutely no way Spurs will see through a deal for Lennon. Also, Lennon'll be a fool if he even considers a career move to Chelsea. He need only look at Shaun Wright-Phillips to get a clue.
He's already a regular at Tottenham and rated highly by his manager, and his international career looks promising because of that. That's something that's worth much more than a fatter paycheck.

that will definitely end his carrier, chelsea are only there to harm the talents of youngsters, look at what happened to wright-philips and even the likes of joe cole are finding it hard to make it to the first eleven, and glen johnson saw it productive to go for a loan spell at pompey otherwise he would not have played as much as he is doing now, and even salomon kalou and obi mirkel are having a hard time. The best team to nature youngsters is definitely arsenal but i think it will be great if lennon stay put at spurs!

So far haven heard anything bout him leaving White Hart Lane... but i guess Chelsea may use Wright Phillips as a bait to tempt Spurs into selling Lennon to them in a cash plus player exchange deal in Jan or end of the season...

There's more chance of Arsene(parrot-face)Wenger playing goal for chelski, than there is of Lennon joining them!
Spurs are building a great squad for the future and Lennon is one of our most important players!there is no way we will sell him or any of our other top players!
As for Shaun Over Priced Phillips,he was incredibly lucky that Chelski wasted 23million on him,he's worth more like 3million-totally over-rated and not fit to be even mentioned in the same sentence as Lennon!
Come On You Spurs!

As a chelsea fan i'd love to see it. Now i've calmed down after last Sunday (!!) that goal he scored was sublime. SWP has been a huge disappointment at The Bridge. I never really rated him anyway and was surprised when Jose shelled out all that dosh for him. I'd doubt Martin Jol would sell his best player tho.

i hope not. can't chelsea just slow down? monopolising the transfer market like this wrong. nobody else can buy world-class players and any smaller club with a quality player gets bought by chelsea (and then they usually end up on the bench). it's not good for football

Aaron is a decent, honest, talented young prospect.
He would probably have more in common with life on the moon than that bunch of spoiled, overpaid ego's (excluding Terry & Cech).

There is no need for Lennon to join Chelsea...he will have lack of games and lack of fitness...the whole point of this transfer deal would be to:
"Buy the rest, be the best"
